I remember reading once that the Gladius was not as popular in war as the Spear due to the soft metal it was made of. So I’d say Bronze seeing as it fits both the time period and that reference.

I am doing a project on ancient civilations and chose a gladius which is a Roman sword. Please Be specific and give a very good response.
