Where can I get a military sword repaired?

My son dropped my fathers sword he was awarded when he retired from the military and broke the blade in two. Any suggestions on where I can send it to get it repaired?

Thanks

I included a couple of places to call- I would gather that this will be a bit spendy- but for a treasure like that- price is not a bother.

What does the military sword represent?

All military has had a "sword" … What does it represent? Dear Jim: It is the sword "retired" or is entrusted for ever? and what happens to a "sword of evil"?

Definitely represents the tradition. Before guns, only had swords. It was a weapon that had a lot of skill to handle. In this respect, the rich were the only ones who could afford them. Think of the movie Braveheart, when William Wallace sword touched his uncles and parents ended their swords. Also think of all the people who use many other types of weapons. Enlisted My NCO sword and the sword of My Official represent much of the tradition for me. I know the same type of sword that has been used for many years. The guns come and go, but the sword and the Marines kbar (for the most part, has changed and I still did not like it, I keep the original) have been held for a long period of time.
