A BOOK OF FIVE RINGS: A Practical Guide to Strategy by Miyamoto Musashi

Sun Tuz / Miyamoto Musashi?

The Art of War (Sun Tzu) and a book of Five Rings (Miyamoto Musashi) agree and disagree on many aspects different and both can be applied to life. My question is what do you think is more beneficial and practical in today's metropolis of a world.

Before one can become a true master of strategy in the world, one must have a high degree of adept in connection with self-control. Musashi was one of the best swordsmen of all time, and a wonderful artist, too. He was able to be a teacher so versatile because all comes from the same level mastery of "enlightened" consciousness. So, strive for perfection through meditation and self "energy arts" such as yoga, tai chi, etc. Subsequently, will notice that the "disagreements" are ghosts merely superficial. Moreover, also comes to appreciate what is really worth doing in the world. The accumulation of wealth and "power" is for narcissists. Collection of merit through service to others is wisdom. Good luck!
