i want to get a Ka Bar with a SGF sheath.?
I want to know if It can fit in a regular belt, (like a belt on jeans) and not one of those webbings that the military soldiers wear. Also i see this “bump” on the sheath(right b4 the hole where u put the knife in), and i would like to know what it’s for, and if it’s like a securing for the knife or not. My last question is what is how do i clean the knife and sheath properly without ruining it. Thank you so much!
Also is it hard to get the knife in and out with the retention device (the little bump) and please tell me how it works (how to get it in and out). also besides ebay, where’s the best place to get a ka bar?
It will fit on a standard sized belt or a web belt. The biggest problem with putting it on a thin belt is it will be prone to movement. That little bump your talking about is just a retention device, but it also helps you guide the knife when your putting it in the sheath. And the easiest way to clean the knife and sheath is warm soapy water, then dry the knife, and make sure the sheath is dry before putting the knife back in it. hope that helps
